Reshaped is a 13 week series walking through the book of Ephesians. The Apostle Paul wrote this epistle (meaning letter) to the church of Ephesus with the added intention that it be shared with other churches in Asia (modern day Turkey).
The letter to the Ephesian church is a robust theological unpacking of the story of the gospel. In it Paul uses high and weighty language to lay out for the church what has been achieved for us in the heavens through Christ. However, the beautiful doctrines laid before God’s people are not left detached from the real and sometimes mundane matters of everyday life. In Ephesians Paul connects the beauty of heavenly truth with the details of our day; the work of God in Christ with the duty of every woman, man, and child; the working of the plan of God and the establishment of the Church.
Ephesians weaves the story of the gospel into the story of our lives thereby reshaping all of life in light of the glorious good news of Jesus Christ. Our verse by verse journey through this wonderful epistle will help us to grasp the truths of Christ as we see how everything — the Church, our marriages, our jobs, our families, the fight against evil, the hard work of building unity, etc. — is connected to what Jesus Christ has done in his coming, living, dying and rising.

The suffering servant is a two-week sermon series looking at isaiah 53 which contains the fourth and final servant song of isaiah. In it the prophet describes the messiah, his life and death, in startling detail some 600-700 years before he came.

A People Planted is a 10 week series looking at integral aspects of living out God’s mission in our time and in this place. By looking at the life of Daniel and the exile to Babylon together we’ll learn about living at the intersection of God’s plan & our troubled times. We'll dig into truths about our culture, the gospel, our beliefs and our conduct with the hope of being further equipped to live as faithful missionaries in a world that increasingly wants nothing to do with the God of the Bible.
What should we believe? Who do we need to be? What does it look like to faithfully follow Jesus on mission in St. Pete? We’ll cover these questions and more as we ask God to make us A People Planted in our city for his glory.
