Series: The Extent of Grace
Date: Oct 14, 2018
About this series
Our series in Luke will take us through the end of 2018 and well into 2019 as we look at the many parables, teachings, miracles, and events that are recorded only in Luke's gospel. In these passages we'll find that Luke brings to light again and again the fact that Jesus was spending time with outcasts. Luke makes sure we know that Christ's gospel message and miraculous deeds extended to the poor, the broken, the prostitutes, the tax-collectors, women, children and Gentiles. Walking through this book we'll behold and be reminded of the extent of God's glorious grace!

September 30, 2018
This fall, in our message series Distinctly Us we want to take a deep dive into the core of who we are as expressed in the values of Stonehouse Church.
We want to answer the question: What makes us Stonehouse?
These matters are in formation among us now as much as they are aspirations before us for our future. God has already, he is currently, and he will continue to place in us a heart that beats for him and for others. This is the unmistakable formation of a people who follow Christ.

Revelation 3:14-22

7 Letters is a sermon series looking at the letters of Jesus Christ to 7 ancient churches. These letters fill the 2nd and 3rd chapters of the book of Revelation written by John, one of Jesus’ 12 disciples.
John is told: “Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven churches, to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.” (Rev. 1:11) Each Church is addressed specifically regarding what Jesus sees in them as he sovereignly rules over them as their Lord. He knows everything about these churches and writes to them through John with encouragements, rebukes, warnings, and promises.
As we explore these 7 letters we will seek to discover what we as the church today can learn from Christ’s words to the 7 churches of Revelation. May we listen with soft hearts to the loving and corrective words of “the first and the last... the living one” who died and is alive forevermore. (Rev. 1:17-18) Join us this summer for the 7 Letters series at Stonehouse Church!
